Telehealth Services
We provide all therapy services via secure, real-time video sessions through a HIPAA-compliant platform.
Our telehealth model allows you to access care from the comfort of your own space, using a computer, tablet, or phone with video and audio capabilities. We use encrypted video tools under a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA) to help ensure your privacy and comply with HIPAA security standards.
Important Information About Telehealth:
Secure & Confidential: All sessions are encrypted and never recorded. Your health information is protected under HIPAA.
Location Requirement: You must be physically located in Colorado during each session, as our clinicians are licensed only in this state.
Technology Needs: Sessions require a private setting with a stable internet connection and a camera-enabled device.
Informed Consent: Before your first appointment, you will review and sign a Telehealth Informed Consentform through our client portal (SimplePractice), outlining risks, benefits, and limitations of virtual care.
Emergencies: Teletherapy is not appropriate for crisis situations. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. We also list crisis resources on our site HERE.
Getting Started with Simple Practice
How to Access Your Sessions & Secure Messages
As a Grounded Light client, you’ll receive a secure link via email (and optional text) to log in to your Simple Practice client portal. From there, you can:
- Join Video Sessions: One click connects you to a private, HIPAA-compliant video room—no downloads required.
- Send & Receive Secure Messages: Ask quick questions, share updates, or exchange worksheets between sessions.
- Complete Intake & Progress Forms: Fill out paperwork electronically before your first appointment, then any check-ins or feedback forms right in your portal.
