Beginning therapy is a meaningful step—and we want it to feel comfortable and clear from the very start. Whether you’re feeling hopeful, hesitant, or somewhere in between, we’re here to guide you through each part of the process with compassion and clarity.
Step One: Get Started With Lisa
Start by completing our short Start Here With Lisa form. I’ll review your inquiry and usually reply right away—otherwise within 1–2 business days—to learn a bit more and outline next steps. No pressure, no commitment.
Step Two: Clarity & Fit
I'll help you explore what you’re looking for, answer questions (rates, insurance/reimbursement, telehealth), and confirm that Grounded Light is a good clinical and logistical match. If we’re not the right fit, I’ll share thoughtful referrals.
Step Three: Secure Paperwork
If we’re aligned, I’ll send a link to our secure client portal where you can complete intake forms and review policies at your own pace.
Step Four: Scheduling With Glenn
Once paperwork’s set, Glenn will reach out personally to coordinate your first session and make sure the plan feels right for you.
Step Five: Your First Session
Your first session is a calm space to share what’s on your mind, set goals, and get a feel for how we’ll work together. You don’t need the perfect words—we’ll meet you where you are.
